Kaohsiung Wild Forest Animal School Tickets
2026/04/09
I visited during the Qingming Festival holiday 26 years ago. As expected, there were many visitors. When we arrived, the free parking lot was full, but they directed us to a 100-day parking lot. We entered the park after crossing a suspension bridge. KKDay tickets need to be exchanged at the ticket counter and fed hay bales. Most animals were open for close interaction and petting; even without hay bales, you could queue to enter. We didn't get a chance to visit the more intimate "small school." The school is open in the morning and afternoon with limited queues. The park has QR code games and stamp collection for children. The fox initially hid on a small hill but later came down to play with the visitors. The food in the park was a bit pricey, but delicious. You can see sloths at the restaurant near the entrance. We didn't try the food truck on the back hill, but it looked good. The surrounding area is limited, mostly selling plush products. A family trip could easily take about 4 hours. Because it was raining, the shuttle bus was free, so we played all the way to the back and then took the bus back.
