The food leans towards Chinese ingredients, but it's still delicious. The bathhouse is a Japanese-style room for two people, and two hours is more than enough time to experience it at a leisurely pace. I would definitely go again if I had the chance.

I brought my parents here for a hot spring bath on a weekday. Since reservations aren't allowed, I was initially worried about waiting, but there was no need to; we could start bathing as soon as we arrived. Parking is available in front, which is quite convenient. This was my first time in a hot spring bath at this hotel, and the overall environment was very clean, appearing to have been renovated. The bath room was spacious, with a large pool, easily enough for two people. Both of our bath rooms had large windows offering views of the mountains and the nearby hot spring museum. However, being on the second floor, we could still see tourists on the distant walking trail, so we had to draw the curtains while bathing, making the room rather dark, which was a bit of a shame. Basic amenities were provided, but there were no small towels or shower caps for drying faces, which was slightly inconvenient; hopefully, the hotel can provide these in the future. The afternoon tea after bathing was rather ordinary, but there were many items, both savory and sweet, which was nice for replenishing some energy! I would definitely consider coming again in the future.

Using Google Maps will take you to the control point. Directly navigate to the parking lot next to Vivi Park Guandu Hospital. This is the fastest way and avoids the control point, otherwise you'll be going in circles. Scan the QR code for the "number ticket" on-site first, then go to the market. Your phone will notify you when your number is called, which is very convenient. The temple stalls are cheap and have a wide selection. The market is closer to the event area, with prices comparable to tourist areas, and both are within a 5-minute walk of the parking lot. It's a great place for taking photos. Experiences start at around NT$50. You can exchange tokens at the small shop at the very back. Be careful of the slippery muddy paths near the water spray area, as it enhances the effect. Strollers are preferred, but wheelchair users should be aware that the muddy ground offers some resistance.
