It was a fantastic travel experience! Our guide, CA RP, provided excellent and thoughtful service, offering comprehensive information about the attractions, ensuring we had a safe and enjoyable day. We departed early from Nagano Station, first taking a bus for over an hour to the Snow Monkey Park, then walking about 20-30 minutes to reach the park itself – the scenery along the way was beautiful. We were very lucky to arrive just in time for feeding time, seeing many snow monkeys and enjoying the hot springs. On the way back, we even had the chance to sample the best apple pie and spicy sweet potato stew. Another hour's drive brought us to Okudo Shrine, a famous Instagrammable spot. Seeing the magnificent century-old trees lining both sides was definitely worth the ticket price. However, the path to the shrine was icy that day, making it difficult to climb without crampons, but the experience was worthwhile! Our final stop was a sake brewery where we sampled various local sakes. There was no pressure to shop, allowing us to experience something new.
