My visit to the National Museum of Nature and Science in Ueno, Tokyo was an excellent experience overall, and I highly recommend it to families, couples, or anyone interested in natural science. Using pre-purchased tickets was very convenient, saving time queuing on-site, and the entry process was smooth. The exhibits are incredibly comprehensive, covering everything from dinosaur fossils and animal and plant specimens to earth science, as well as Japanese history and technological development. The large dinosaur skeletons and real specimens were particularly impressive and eye-opening. The exhibition layout is clear, and many areas have interactive exhibits, so you won't get bored even if you spend half a day or a whole day there. While the explanations are primarily in Japanese, there are also many in English, and with a mobile phone translator, you can easily understand the exhibits. The museum is conveniently located within Ueno Park, and there are nearby art museums, a zoo, and Ameyoko Street, which can be easily included in a day trip. Considering the ticket price, the content is very substantial, offering great value for money, and it's definitely worth including in your Tokyo itinerary. I would definitely visit again next time.
This trip was fantastic. The only downside was the bad weather, so we didn't get to see Mount Fuji. Our tour guide was wonderful and provided very detailed explanations. I'd love to go again if I have the chance to visit Japan in the future.
Very fast and clean, the seats are very spacious, very satisfactory.
