Overall, the itinerary was good, and the tour guide was very friendly. We were lucky that day, getting a clear view of Mt. Fuji's summit for several minutes from the 5th station, which was truly moving. However, the 90-minute stop at Gotemba Outlet meant we didn't get to visit many shops, which was a bit of a shame. Overall, though, it's still a very worthwhile trip!

Then you absolutely need to bookmark "Asakusa GYUUNA Yadoki"! 📝 Located right next to Senso-ji Temple, it's just a few minutes' walk from the subway. Perfect for lunch or dinner before or after your visit to Senso-ji. 🥩 Eel and Beef Tongue Rice Bowl (JPY 2800): The grilled eel has a slightly charred skin and delicate meat, with a perfectly balanced sweetness that's not cloying. The thinly sliced beef tongue is springy and flavorful, offering a wonderfully balanced sweet and savory taste. The accompanying miso soup is also refreshing and delicious. 🥗 Asakusa Set (+JPY 950): Adding this to your meal includes an extra salad and two condiments. It can be served as ochazuke (rice with tea) or with yam, scallions, and shredded seaweed, offering different flavors in one bowl – very satisfying! 😋 The set meal also includes a 🍲 beef sukiyaki hot pot with Wagyu beef slices, tofu, enoki mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, and vegetables – a generous amount of ingredients. The beef soaks up the savory sauce, making it not greasy at all. Dipping it in raw egg makes it even smoother and richer. 🍳 Unagi tamagoyaki (JPY 700): Sweet and soft tamagoyaki wraps around eel, a savory-sweet flavor with a smooth texture – a perfect little treat to finish off your meal! 💛

1. It gets very crowded even on weekdays, so I highly recommend being among the first to enter at 9:30 AM. 2. Just show the QR code to the ticket checker at the entrance and swipe it to open the ticket. 3. You need to enter the Van Gogh exhibition souvenir shop to buy anything. Popular items have purchase limits. The museum souvenir shop at the entrance also has a few Van Gogh items. 4. You can rent audio guides at the entrance. They are only available in Japanese and English, and each one costs about 700 yen. 5. Photography is not allowed after entering (so you can't take photos to check the translations). You can only take photos of the final video. 6. You absolutely must buy tickets in advance. Buying same-day tickets involves a very, very long queue. 7. I highly recommend watching the Van Gogh YouTube video with the hook first; it's very interesting! 😍
