--- 🏝Izu (Izu Peninsula) Overall Review: Abundant natural scenery, top-notch hot springs, and a relaxed pace, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation. - Highlights: Coastal scenery, hot springs (Shuzenji, Ito, Inatori, etc.), seafood cuisine, and art attractions (Izu Kogen). - Suitable for: People who enjoy hot springs, gourmet food, relaxed travel, and sea views. - Experience: Slow pace, attractions are spread out; driving or planning your transportation in advance is recommended. --- 🏔 Mt. Fuji 5th Station Overall Review: The easiest high point to approach Mt. Fuji, with breathtaking views, but crowded and greatly affected by weather. - Rating: Trip.com 4.7/5 (681 reviews). - Highlights: - Close-up views of Mt. Fuji - 5th Station Observatory, sea of clouds, Mt. Fuji-shaped pineapple bun (AMANOYA) - Komiya Shrine, Okuniwa Nature Park - Note: Weather is changeable, roads are prone to closure in winter; large crowds during peak season. --- 🌋 Asama (Speculation: Asama Mountain/Around Asama Taisha Shrine) Search results didn't directly show "Asama travel reviews," but based on common travel context, I speculate: - Asama Mountain: Known for its volcanic landscape and nature trails, suitable for outdoor enthusiasts. - Asama Taisha Shrine (Fujisan Hongu Asama Taisha Shrine): The center of Fuji worship, suitable for cultural experiences. > If you are referring to a specific "Asama" attraction, I can search further and add more information. --- 🗻 Overall Viewing Experience of Mt. Fuji: A symbolic Japanese landscape; the best experience depends on the weather. - Excellent views from Enoshima, the Shonan coast, Inamurazaki, etc., especially the combination of "Enoshima + Mt. Fuji," considered one of Japan's most spectacular views. - Best season: Autumn and winter (clear air). - Special phenomena: The rare and unpredictable "Diamond Fuji" and "Pearl Fuji." --- 🌅 Overall Viewing Experience of Enoshima: A comprehensive attraction combining sea views, Mt. Fuji, delicious food, a shrine, and a lighthouse, with a relaxed atmosphere. - Highlights: - Enoshima Kaicho Lighthouse, Iwaya Cave, sunset views from Chinobuchi - Traditional approach to the shrine, takoyaki (octopus crackers), seafood - Distant views of Mount Fuji, a landmark of the Shonan region - Experience: Lots of walking but not difficult, suitable for half a day to a full day trip. - Lesser-known activity: Take silhouette photos of Mount Fuji at sunset from Chinobuchi (best in autumn and winter).
Our tour guide, Belle, provided enthusiastic and professional commentary on each tourist attraction, offering warm service and attentive care to every member of the group. In Hakone, we boarded a pirate ship to admire the harmony between the land and the lake, then disembarked and took a cable car to enjoy the changing vegetation and the magnificent rolling mountains. Arriving at Owakudani, the air was filled with the natural smell of sulfur. Before us lay the landscape left by a volcano thousands of years ago, telling the story of how years of accumulated energy erupted a millennium ago. It resembled a magnified version of Xiaoyoukeng in Taipei, Taiwan, giving us a deeper understanding of how scorching the magma underground was and how nature itself shaped the land. Finally, we visited Enoshima, located in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It's a land-connected island with a circumference of 4km and an elevation of 60m. The road leading to Enoshima Shrine is lined with streets selling seafood barbecue, local specialties, sweets, and souvenirs. As you ascend the steps, the Ejima Shrine comes into view. Following local customs, I scooped up some natural water to purify myself, then offered prayers before entering the shrine, thanking everyone who had helped me along the way, and praying for the health and safety of everyone, my friends, and myself! 🐳💖🌈
The itinerary was diverse, with ample time for sightseeing. Our guide, Jack, was very helpful and enthusiastic; he even helped to look for lost items when some tourists did so. Aside from a few guests being late, causing a slight delay, the entire trip was generally successful.
Don't expect sunshine all the time, the weather is always likely to change.
Our tour guide David explained everything to us like why certain measures were taken for my trip as the morning weather was against us. I would totally book from them again. The only real issue was that mandarin was what our tour guide spoke more since the majority understood mandarin. English language they struggle a bit but they try their best to accommodate the English only speakers.
The overall vibes places we went to were fun, and Fuji San even gave us a glimpse despite the terrible fog.
I highly recommend the day trip to Kamakura that Hayashi Ken took us on March 25th. His explanations were very detailed and thorough.
