Gujo Hachiman Castle

A good itinerary. We arrived in Gujo-hachiman very early...but no shops were open yet...so we could finish exploring there quickly. The 2 hours in Hida-Takayama, including lunch, was just right—we could only have something quick for lunch. I felt the 1.5 hours in Shirakawa-go was a bit rushed...we didn't really get to see the whole place...an extra half hour would have been better. But the tour guide's explanations were excellent! He spoke in both Chinese and English. This tour was great! The bus seats were a bit narrow, and the 2.5-hour return trip was a little uncomfortable...those with long legs should be careful.
