The tour guide was very enthusiastic, the schedule was excellent, and they recommended good restaurants. They explained a lot about the history related to the attractions, and the Gero Onsen was very comfortable. The hotel selection was also very good. Shirakawa-go Gassho-zukuri village was very beautiful after a snowfall. The tour guide explained the history of Gunjo Hachiban in great detail. Everyone on the bus was very cooperative and boarded the bus early, making the trip very smooth.

Gujo Hachiman Historic Streets, Muka no Sato Snow Park, and Hot Springs Day Tour | Depart from Nagoya
2026/01/20
It didn't snow that day, so there wasn't the snowy scenery I had imagined, and the overall landscape was rather ordinary. However, the itinerary was well-planned, making it very convenient as I didn't have to transfer. The old town of Gujo Hachiman and the hot springs were quite relaxing, making it a good experience overall.

WhitePIA Takasu Round-Trip Bus & 1-Day Ski Lift Pass|Nagoya departure / arrival
2026/01/12
The check-in time was 6:50 AM on a weekday Friday, but the actual assembly time was 7:40 AM. You don't actually need to arrive that early. You'll receive ski resort vouchers, rental discount coupons, free access to the public baths, etc. Knowing a little Japanese makes communication easier. The bus journey takes about two hours, with a 15-minute break for restroom use. We arrived at WhitePia ski resort at 9:50 AM and met at 5:00 PM for the return trip. The ski resort has two buildings: one is the rental shop, and the other has a restaurant, restrooms, and a counter. You need to exchange your card for a ski resort IC card at the counter to take the ski lift up the mountain. The deposit is 500 yen, and the card will be printed with the date of the day. Today, the ski resort was open until 4:45 PM. To rent ski suits and equipment at the rental shop, you need to scan a QR code with your phone and also provide a photocopy of your passport. Perhaps because it's weekday, the staff said there's a discount even without a coupon; two ski suits and equipment cost less than 7000 yen, and you have to return them before 4:15 PM. They seemed to have a good stock. The ski suit cuffs smelled bad, and the ski boot clips popped open easily, but they were still usable. There are changing rooms on the second floor of the rental shop and the basement of the adjacent restaurant. Lockers cost 300 yen, and shoe lockers cost 100 yen. There's also a large public bath on the third floor of the restaurant. Although the itinerary includes a free bath pass, towel rental is extra, so I recommend bringing your own. The resort has hot and cold water pools and a sauna. Lockers cost 100 yen, but I saw many people just putting their luggage in baskets without locking them. The resort has a 2-hour usage period; remember to pay attention to the return bus meeting time. Finally, regarding clothing, for first-time skiers, I highly recommend wearing wrist and hip protection, as these areas are most prone to injury. Wear a thermal undershirt and a thick sweater, plus the rented ski jacket, which should be warm enough. Next, a beanie, gloves, and goggles. If you bring your own, you don't need to spend an extra 1000 yen to rent. Thick motorcycle gloves provide the same protection. Finally, I wish everyone a happy skiing experience!

[Includes 1 person] Hokuriku Gifu Day Tour | Shirakawa-go Gassho Village & Gujo Hachiman Old Street & Showa Retro Art Museum & Food Sample Making Experience & Muka-no-Sato Snow Activities | Depart from Nagoya, Japan
2026/01/08
Led by a Chinese-speaking driver and guide, the day begins with a 2.5-hour stop in Shirakawa-go. The white, sandalwood-style village in winter truly resembles a fairytale; you can stroll around, take photos, and find a restaurant for a snack if you get tired. Afterwards, head to Morigago-no-Sato to play in the snow. This area is a pasture in summer and covered in snow in winter. You can freely play in the snow for an hour (depending on the snowfall), which the kids love 💕. There are also optional activities nearby, such as horseback riding and feeding small animals (at your own expense). You can also sample local dairy products at the shop. It's a fulfilling and wonderful experience, and the itinerary isn't too rushed. Highly recommended!
