Everyone was very punctual for this trip. The itinerary included both in full bloom neem flowers and blooming wisteria. The Hitachi Road Station can be skipped as the time is too short, and there would be time pressure if we wanted to have a barbecue there.
We enjoyed two popular flower fields—the Hitachi Seaside Neon Flower Field and the Ashikaga Wisteria Field—in one day during the peak blooming season, and even managed to visit the Oarai Isok Torii Gate. It was a fantastic day trip! Our guide, Mr. Liu Bin, provided detailed explanations and managed the time well. The driver drove smoothly, and thanks to good road conditions, we arrived at the attractions a little early and returned to Tokyo on time. A very good day trip indeed! Those who enjoy taking photos should be mindful of the time, as group tours cannot be late. Please allow time for buying souvenirs and sampling food.
My second visit to KKday for the butterfly and wisteria season was absolutely worthwhile! The enthusiastic guidance from our handsome tour guide, James Chan, made the trip perfect and enjoyable.
Both attractions are very beautiful, but the drive is a bit too long because they are quite far apart. I suggest splitting them into two separate trips and adding some other attractions in the same direction.
