We were lucky to have such good weather this time, which allowed us to see Mount Fuji in its entirety. The tour guide was excellent, very attentive, and provided superb service. I hope to have the opportunity to meet him again next time.
The timing of this itinerary was excellent, allowing us to visit three very famous and beautiful spots around Mount Fuji in one trip! Our guide, Yong, provided detailed explanations and was very attentive to time management, ensuring a smooth overall experience. He even went out of his way to bring my lost belongings to me at the station at the end. He truly deserves five stars for being such a responsible and excellent guide!
KKday Day Trip: Thanks to Xiangxiang for leading the group today! She enthusiastically introduced the sights along the way, always reminding us to move to less-visited spots, and her time management was impeccable. The Lawson convenience store 🏪, besides the vibrant view directly in front, the street scene with the Lawson sign on the side was also fantastic for photos 👍! At Kawaguchiko Oishi Park ⛲️, besides recommending the secret garden, she also suggested a delicious ice cream shop 🍦. Seeing the long queue, we had to forgo the food and focus on enjoying the scenery! The flowers in the Secret Garden are so beautiful! They look just like the trendy picklemin flowers, which gave me a sense of familiarity, hahaha 😂. The parking lot at Oshino Hakkai was carefully chosen. As soon as we got out of the car, the beautiful Mount Fuji was right behind us. Thanks to Xiangxiang's reminder, Mount Fuji 🗻 is unpredictable; shortly after we finished taking photos, white/dark clouds started swirling around the mountain, and it even drizzled a little 🌧️. Luckily, we managed to find shelter in a restaurant Xiangxiang recommended for noodles 🍜, and the taste was truly unique! Thanks again to Xiangxiang for the hand-drawn map 🗺️, which clearly pointed out the relative locations of Oshino Hakkai, preventing us from getting lost—we just got lost in the souvenir shop, 😂. As for Asama Park and the Nikkawa Clock Shop, since we were visiting two attractions, Xiangxiang specifically instructed us to allow 30 minutes to walk from Shimoyoshida Station to the Nikkawa Clock Shop and back. The steps in Asama Park have two sections 🪜, and there are special gashapon toys to collect next to the five-story pagoda. Xiangxiang explained to us which spots we needed to reach to get a good view of Mount Fuji and the pagoda, which made our whole trip go smoothly. We heard that Mount Fuji isn't always visible, and its appearance changes frequently. We were really lucky today; the entire mountain peak came into view—it was fantastic!
I just purchased it the day before, and it was very convenient to use immediately. It's also very user-friendly for people with flexible travel schedules. The tour I originally booked was only available to one person and was already full, but since there were three of us traveling together, we cancelled and rebooked. Customer service was still very responsive on Sunday, which was reassuring. 👍🏻 The explanations were detailed, the itinerary was packed, and we were lucky enough to see Mount Fuji on a sunny day, and we even caught the last cherry blossoms, which was wonderful. Our guide, Yang Guifei, was very professional, but there was no meal time provided, so we had to bring our own snacks for the tight schedule. Otherwise, I was very satisfied. Excellent bilingual communication in Chinese and English! Highly recommended. ❤️❤️❤️
Pity it was a cloudy/rainy day. Didn’t get to see mount fuji. Nevertheless, kudos to the guide/driver - Bruce, who brought us around, safely and efficiently. It would be better if more time is catered for the first stop, Arakurayama Sengen Park.
