Asahiyama Zoo

We met at Sapporo bus station at 8:00 AM, a convenient location. After a quick seat and a nap, we arrived at our respective destinations. Our guide, Xiao Hong, was excellent; he spoke Mandarin, English, and sometimes Japanese, introducing the different sights and sharing tidbits of Hokkaido, Japan. At each attraction, he thoughtfully provided maps, meeting times, and locations to our group representatives. Luckily, it was the off-season, so there weren't many people. We also had another guide with us, and they even offered a photo service – we were incredibly lucky with this tour! Biei Blue Pond is truly beautiful; I might not have visited on my own, but a day trip made it much more convenient. Highly recommended! 👍

The meeting point was clearly stated, and our guide Kevin provided a very detailed explanation in both Chinese and English, also introducing local Hokkaido cuisine. The main focus of this trip was Asahiyama Zoo in Asahikawa. Two hours wasn't enough; it's definitely worth a second visit. The Christmas tree and Shirahige Falls were good for taking photos, but the Blue Pond was beautiful, and the ice cream and fresh milk nearby were also quite good. 👍

Our tour guide, Huang Lei, was extremely professional. His explanations were clear and engaging, and his humorous style created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the trip. He was fluent in Chinese, English, and Japanese, ensuring seamless communication and giving us complete peace of mind. The itinerary was well-planned and paced perfectly, allowing ample time to visit and experience each attraction. At each stop, the guide provided detailed explanations, enabling us to go beyond a superficial overview and gain a deeper understanding of the local culture and background. It was a very pleasant and fulfilling trip, leaving us with wonderful memories. Thank you so much!
