Overall, I was very satisfied with the trip. Our guide, Arpan, was attentive and professional, providing clear and thoughtful explanations. Although the journey to and from Tokyo was long, rest stops were arranged along the way, making it convenient to get off the bus, explore, and buy snacks. Kamikochi boasts beautiful scenery; the forest and flatland trails are easy to hike, and the lakes and mountains are breathtaking. Although the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route Snow Wall is nearing its end, it remains spectacular and unforgettable, well worth a visit.
The tour leader was friendly and patient in explaining everything, and the various transportation routes were smooth. The entire itinerary was well-arranged. Although the journey was remote and the time was tight, it was a pity that the weather was not good enough to walk through the snow valley. However, it allowed us to enjoy the beautiful scenery with peace of mind, making it excellent value for money.
This time too, we had just under four hours of free time at the site. Last time we took the Myojin Pond course, which focused on sightseeing, so this time we chose the Taisho Pond course. We thoroughly enjoyed it, including the meal. Due to a landslide along the way, the tour was conducted by a minibus instead of a regular tour bus.
