Product Info

- Product Introduction -

  • Fongyi Academy

Located next to the City God Temple, Fongyi Academy was built in 1814 and was designated as a third-grade historic site in 1985. It was constructed by Zhang Tingqin, a candidate for the position of instructor in Fengshan. At that time, it consisted of 37 rooms and originally housed shrines for Wenchang, Kuichang, and the Sage of Literature. Equipped with desks and chairs, it served as a place for students to study and take exams in ancient times. The architectural details are exquisite, and it is the largest existing academy in Taiwan.

  • Kaohsiung Shoushan Zoo

Kaohsiung Shoushan Zoo is the largest public zoo in southern Taiwan, providing multiple functions and services for families, outdoor education, ecological science popularization, and tourism for the people of the Greater Kaohsiung area as well as the vast central, southern, and eastern regions of Taiwan. Recently, it has been gradually renovated to present a brand-new look to all children and adults. The display interface is more in line with the ecological habits of the animals, and a large number of glass fences are used, allowing visitors to have an unobstructed view and a glimpse of the animals' true appearance. The zoo continues to host ecological lectures, summer camps, children's theaters, photography exhibitions, night tours of the zoo, and 'best couple' voting events, making the park lively and extraordinary. The park is divided into six areas: the Asian Area, American Area, African Area, Primate Area, Taiwan Native Animal Area, and the newly opened 'Children's Ranch'. The circulation is well-planned. The Children's Ranch is the first ranch-style display area in a domestic zoo, combining grazing cute and gentle animals, allowing children and adults to get close to, touch, and feed the animals under the guidance of staff, so that visitors can experience the leisurely atmosphere and fun of a ranch in the Kaohsiung metropolitan area.
