-Connection Instructions-

• The one-way transfer time between Donggang and Kaohsiung City and between Kaohsiung City and Donggang is at least 1 hour, excluding unavoidable circumstances such as traffic jams. Please consider your own consideration when booking the transfer.
• The journey between Donggang and Xiaoliuqiu takes approximately 25 to 40 minutes, but the actual time may vary depending on weather, sea conditions, and vessel type. Therefore, please allow ample time for your ferry boarding. For shared transfers, please arrive at the boarding area 10 minutes in advance. Exceeding this time will result in cancellations and refunds. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by ferry delays or any other factors.
  
  
  

- Ticket Information -

• Please fill in the ticket collection information clearly and accurately. If you are a Taiwanese passenger, you must enter your Chinese name. If you are a passenger outside of Taiwan, please enter your English passport name. Your identity will be verified and your signature will be required when you collect your ticket. If you are unable to collect your ticket due to incorrect information, no refund will be given. Please be advised.
• You cannot specify your ferry schedule and there are no assigned seats. All seats are free. Please queue up on site and board the ferry in order. Each ferry can carry a maximum of 192 passengers.
• A round trip ticket only includes one outbound and one return trip.
• The return ferry ticket is valid for 7 days from the date of ticket collection. Please use it within 7 days, otherwise it will be invalid.
• Children's tickets, senior citizen tickets, and those with disability certificates are available for purchase at the on-site counter.
• Children aged 3 to under 12 must purchase a round-trip ticket of NT$225 at the on-site counter to apply for boat insurance.
• Children under 3 years old must purchase a round-trip ticket of NT$60 at the on-site counter to apply for boat insurance.
• The ticket price includes NT$2.5 million accident insurance and NT$300,000 medical insurance.
  
  
  

- Q&A -

Q1: Are pets allowed?
A1: Pets must be caged to avoid disturbing other passengers if brought into the cabin. Pets without cages can only be accommodated on the rear deck (on a leash and with the owner at their side). If you are bringing a dog or cat on board, the owner or agent must first confirm and present the rabies vaccination certificate (valid for at least 30 days and no more than one year) for the dog or cat. The dog must also be accompanied by a pet registration certificate (microchip implanted). The dog must be prepared for a rabies vaccination before boarding.

Q2: Can cars be brought on board?
A2: The Taifu Ferry is a high-speed ferry and does not offer transport for four-wheeled powered vehicles. It only offers scooters (currently carrying 21). Scooters are charged a fee (red plate NT$450, yellow plate NT$300, white plate NT$150). Bicycles are charged NT$50. However, non-powered (foldable) bicycles are available for free transport (space is limited; scooter parking is required 30 minutes in advance).

Q3: Can I bring sparklers or fireworks on the boat trip to Xiaoliuqiu?
A3: These are prohibited items and must not be brought on board. Otherwise, you will be breaking the law. If they are found by security personnel, it is considered a personal act and the company will not bear any legal responsibility.
