Sun Moon Lake

Charter a car, no need to drive yourself, no need to deal with traffic jams during holidays, no need to rush.

The first floor of the main building houses the black tea production area, with a transparent production line allowing visitors to clearly observe the tea-making process. The second floor is the retail area, offering a wide variety of black tea products worth purchasing. The third floor also features black tea and tea eggs for tasting. Outdoors, there is a tea garden and landscaped courtyard.

Taking the bus would have been cheaper, but since Taiwan was also experiencing a three-day weekend and expected to be crowded, we opted for convenience and made a reservation. Because my travel companion was Taiwanese, communication with the driver was no problem. At Sun Moon Lake, the driver provided information on sightseeing boat tickets, recommended routes, and even suggested souvenir shops where we could buy items at a slightly cheaper price. The driver drove safely and even checked on us when we needed to use the restroom, allowing us to enjoy the trip with peace of mind.

We took a 10-hour tour of Sun Moon Lake and Gaomei Wetlands. Initially, we considered going on our own, but it would have been difficult to visit both places in one day, so we opted for this chartered tour, which allowed us to see everything efficiently. Unfortunately, it rained on the day, but the driver adjusted the schedule so we could do the cycling we wanted during breaks in the rain, and also took us to several scenic spots on the way to Gaomei Wetlands. We were traveling with a 4-year-old child, and the driver was very considerate, making our trip very comfortable. We are very grateful to our driver, Mr. Sun.
