Since it was my first time at Biwako Valley, I called the reception in advance and asked a lot of questions. The person on the phone answered very kindly and chatted with me, explaining the ropeway and lifts in a fun way. It was a family trip, and my grandmother was with us, so I asked if elderly people could ride the ropeway and lifts, and if they were safe. They assured me that they were safe and secure. It was raining on the day, but by the time we got on the ropeway, it had completely stopped, and the scenery was like a sea of ​​clouds. Perhaps because it was a weekday, there weren't many customers, so we were able to spend our time quietly and enjoyably. We also enjoyed the zipline. There was an option to go to just one zipline or six, but since we didn't want to spend too much time, we chose the one-zipline option. Even without a reservation, we were able to register on the day, and everything went very smoothly. The female staff member at the zipline was incredibly friendly, talking to my grandmother in a fun way and treating her like a friend. She was such a nice person that I want to come back again! The zipline was also very exhilarating and fun. I'm not afraid of heights, so I wanted to do it again lol. After the zipline, we walked across the newly built suspension bridge back to where my grandmother was waiting, and then took the lift to the observation deck on Mt. Horai. I was surprised to see so many kites flying around! It was very cool and refreshing to breathe in the air lol. When my grandmother got on the lift, the staff stopped it when she got off, so we were able to get on and off safely. Their thoughtfulness was wonderful. All the staff were very welcoming and had excellent communication skills. I wonder if it was because it was a weekday and there weren't many customers? I look forward to seeing how the staff will be on weekends. There were plenty of clean toilets. I bought a curry bun and a juice in a pouch at the cafe, but I thought they were too expensive. There were lots of flowers in bloom, but I thought it would be nice if there were some nameplates for the flowers. There was a single duck on the left side of the ropeway entrance, and it was restrained so it couldn't fly, so I felt sorry for it, as it was all alone and looked lonely.

It was a great tour for the price, we visited three beautiful locations, our tour guide Leslie was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Our driver was cautious and on time, also very friendly. We were able to visit three amazing spots in one day and had enough time to see each one of them. Thank you for a great experience!

This trip was planned to take us to Shiga. We booked a one-day private car tour with KKday, which allowed us to visit all the attractions we wanted without having to worry about transportation. Our guide, Huahua, was friendly and managed the time well. The whole day was neither rushed nor overly busy, and there weren't many tourists at the attractions.
