Although the tour guide only spoke Japanese, I could clearly understand what he was saying about the attractions using the S Translate app on my phone. I was extremely satisfied with this one-day tour and highly recommend it! 👍👍
There are lots of little piggy-shaped treats, and the staff will actively guide them to you. The indoor environment is clean and odorless. The donuts are a bit disappointing.
Sapporo Maruyama Zoo, located in Sapporo, Hokkaido, is a fascinating zoo where you can observe many animals in a rich natural environment. The zoo grounds are spacious and well-maintained, making it enjoyable for a wide range of visitors, from families and couples to solo travelers. The polar bear exhibit, in particular, is popular with visitors as they can see the polar bears swimming up close. The zoo also boasts a wealth of exhibits that teach about the ecology and habits of the animals, and is highly regarded for its educational value. With rest areas and shops on-site, it's a great place to relax and spend your time. As you can interact with animals while experiencing the changing seasons, it's definitely a must-visit spot when sightseeing in Hokkaido. It's a recommended zoo that will satisfy everyone from children to adults.
The car was comfortable and clean. Most trips to Hokkaido are limited by travel time, but thankfully we chose this service beforehand. We could arrange our own time at each attraction, unlike group tours where we were rushed to meet set times. We could enjoy the trip freely at our own pace. Our driver was a very professional and attentive lady. She drove us from Hakodate to Sapporo, and then continued through Noboribetsu, Jigokudani, Blue Pond, Biei, and Furano, providing excellent service throughout! She was also very helpful with any information we needed during the trip, proving she's a well-prepared and professional driver! I will definitely use her again next time I go to Hokkaido. Highly recommended! 👍
The all-you-can-eat strawberry buffet and the whisky experience at the whisky distillery were really fun. The beach was beautiful, but it was incredibly cold and it had just rained, so there were puddles everywhere. I felt this trip was excellent value for money.
First of all, thank you so much to KKday for providing such a high-quality Hokkaido day trip. The booking process was simple and convenient, and the departure information was very clear, which made us feel at ease. What surprised us even more was that we were greeted by the same Yamato Travel team in Hokkaido, and it was the same customer service representative who had served us on our previous trip to Okinawa! Meeting a familiar service team again in unfamiliar Hokkaido felt like reuniting with old friends, making the journey feel reassuring from the very beginning. The tour guide was very friendly and professional, not only providing detailed introductions to Hokkaido's attractions, history, and features along the way, but also frequently checking on the needs of the travelers. I accompanied my mother on this trip, and the tour guide took special care of her, reminding her to be careful when getting on and off the bus and proactively assisting with taking photos, ensuring my mother had a wonderful time. We all felt the warmth and attentive service. The itinerary was also quite rich and smooth. Whether it was the dreamy Blue Pond, the colorful Shikisai-no-Oka, or the fragrant Tomita Farm, each attraction had ample time to leisurely enjoy the scenery, take photos, and check in, without any pressure of rushing. The travel time was well-planned, allowing for a relaxed enjoyment of Hokkaido's pastoral scenery. Overall, this was a trip that exceeded our expectations. From KKday's product arrangements and Yamato Travel's hospitality to the professionalism and enthusiasm of our guide, we created wonderful memories. My mother was very happy throughout the trip and constantly praised the guide and customer service. If we ever travel to Hokkaido or Okinawa again, we will definitely choose KKday and Yamato Travel again! Highly recommended for travelers who want to easily enjoy the beauty of Hokkaido!
Lucy was an excellent tour guide. She provided ample information, planned a comprehensive itinerary, and was very helpful in answering questions from fellow travelers. She was also very friendly and helpful, even assisting with taking photos. The galeto at Lake Hill Farm was delicious.
The value is high, but it must be placed at the designated location before 9:00 AM. If you arrive at the airport after 9:00 AM on the first day, it won't be possible. However, they do double-check when you place the order, which is very thoughtful. But it would still be helpful to specify this clearly on KKDay.
