The tour guide was very friendly, introducing things along the way and providing maps and suggestions. However, the most surprising aspect of the trip was the itinerary planning. November 3rd is Culture Day, so there was a risk of catching locals enjoying the autumn foliage. However, the itinerary included a morning trip to Ginzan and an afternoon trip to Naruko Gorge. The route to Naruko Gorge avoided the traffic congestion leaving Sendai city, ensuring no delays. It also seemed that both tourist areas had reserved spaces for chartered vehicles, so parking wasn't a problem. 1. Ginzan: Departed Sendai at 8:30 AM, arriving around 10:15 AM. The guide provided a shuttle bus ticket (originally 500 yen), so you didn't need to buy one yourself. Arrival at the Ginzan Onsen area was at 10:30 AM, and departure was at 12:45 PM, providing ample time for sightseeing. You could also choose to stroll along the mine trail. 2. Naruko Gorge: Arrived at 2:00 PM, returning at 3:30 PM. The guide only recommended taking the shorter trail (later, the bus passed another trail, which appeared to be closed due to bears). 1.5 hours is plenty of time, and since the trains aren't running today, there won't be many people on the bridge. 3. Go back to the train and sleep. We'll arrive at Sendai Station around 5:30 PM. It'll be comfortable.
A rare rainy day trip! The foxes slept soundly, so adorable! The Ginzan Onsen in the mountains was filled with serene beauty! Thanks to Mr. Che for his excellent and gentle driving skills, ensuring a comfortable and safe journey. A romantic trip!
The itinerary was very relaxing and stress-free. The arrangement of visiting two attractions in one day was very pleasant and I recommend it.
