Highly recommend this day trip! It covers Katsuo-ji, Arashiyama, and Kiyomizu-dera temples in one trip, saving you the hassle of long journeys. The time allotted is ample. For lunch, I suggest ordering a meal included with the tour ā it's convenient and delicious. There's also a matcha experience; the matcha you make yourself is especially tasty. Our guide, Mr. Liu, was very kind and attentive, taking good care of everyone in the group. I would definitely join another KKday day trip next time. Thank you, Mr. Liu, for creating such wonderful memories for my family. I highly recommend this day trip for families who don't want to join a tour group ā it's convenient and allows you to experience everything!
The itinerary was well-planned, especially the first one. Since each attraction was extremely popular, we chose the hottest one first, and we set off early in the morning, completing our visit and shopping before the crowds became overwhelming. The only problem was the heat.
I signed up for this trip specifically for Daruma-ji Temple, and it was definitely worth it! The sight of so many Daruma dolls was spectacular and very characteristic of Japan. The atmosphere was also very peaceful and comfortable, and every photo turned out beautifully š The guide was also very friendly, sharing many stories and cultural aspects of Daruma-ji Temple, making the whole experience even more meaningful. The overall itinerary was smooth and not too rushed, making it a very satisfying day trip to Kyoto!
We added a photoshoot package to our order for the first time. We chose this studio because we were worried about rain, and if it rained, the photos might not look as good, so we weren't really keen on going. This studio was one of the few that allowed free cancellation a day in advance, giving us some flexibility during our trip! Although there seemed to be a slight mishap during the photographer's consultation, the photographer who did the shoot was very nice and was very helpful with the subsequent retouching!
