We arrived an hour earlier than our appointment time, and the staff quickly served us after we inquired, so we didn't have to wait. The staff spoke English, so communication was very smooth. There were many kimono options; lace kimonos were free, and there were options to purchase additional accessories, but the basic configuration was already perfect. After choosing a kimono, the staff suggested matching obi (sashes), so we didn't have to worry about our taste 🤣. After choosing a bag, we went upstairs to change, where two Japanese-speaking staff members served us. Everyone was very friendly and polite. We had a child with us, and the obi was too tight and uncomfortable after the first time it was tied. The staff immediately helped us remove it and re-tie it without hesitation 🙏 We were really grateful. The four-person package included a 30-minute photo shoot. The photographer was Taiwanese and had settled in Japan. He carefully guided us on poses and the shoot, and even though it was drizzling that day, he took us to 3-5 shooting locations. I received the photos the very next day, super fast! Remember to fill in your email address clearly when placing your order! Overall, I give this experience a perfect 100! 😁
I was so happy to participate in this trip. Kinkaku-ji, Kiyomizu-dera, and Uji Byodoin Temple were all places I'd wanted to visit for a long time. The tour guide was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the entire trip, speaking both Chinese and English – amazing! 👍 I highly recommend joining KKDAY when traveling to Kyoto; it's more affordable and has better contact information than Ag000.
My five-day, four-night trip to Kyoto included three consecutive days at the Kiyomizu-dera main branch and the last day at the Inari branch. I enjoyed trying out different styles each day. I initially chose this branch because it offered convenient options like overnight returns and returns to other branches without extra charges. To be honest, if you choose a cheaper plan, the staff will almost certainly try to sell you higher-end kimonos for an extra fee. However, their furisode and visiting attire were truly beautiful, so I upgraded myself. I noticed that even when other customers declined, they didn't push it. The weather was quite cold during my visit, and the staff provided thermal underwear, thermal pants, and scarves, as well as a hand warmer. Additionally, umbrellas and handbags, used as photo props, were available for free loan. I'm giving it five stars mainly because the staff are incredibly kind and friendly, and they're also very dedicated. One night I returned my kimono late, which meant one of the employees had to work overtime to serve me, but she still smiled and said, "It's okay, I need to finish washing my clothes first anyway." Also, the same beautiful young woman did my hair for three consecutive days, and her hairstyles were absolutely gorgeous. Furthermore, the Kiyomizu main store has a Hong Kong employee, so Hong Kong customers don't need to worry about communication issues. I'd like to go to Kyoto again in the spring or summer, and I'll definitely visit again then.
Three itineraries in one day, a relaxed and leisurely trip starting from Osaka. Our tour guide, Ms. Hsieh (Blueberry), was very responsible in introducing the sights and food, and answered all our questions politely and attentively. Our group only had 12 people, all from Taiwan. I would rate the tour guide out of 10, and the group members who were late only out of 10, showing a complete lack of time management skills…
