When our flight was delayed, the driver paid attention to the flight schedule changes and held up a sign to let us know where we were when we left the airport. It was a great experience!
A very good charter service experience. Customer service contact was very quick. It was my first time in Hokkaido, and even though it was snowing heavily, driver Kevin was able to pick me up on time and answer my questions.
The ship is quite large, and the pier is easy to find. Boarding is on the 3rd floor. When traveling in Japan, be sure to arrive early to choose a better seat. If you want to rest on the ship, it is recommended to bring a sleeping bag. It takes 3.5 hours to reach Aomori Port! During peak season and before the New Year, it is easier than taking the JR line!
Having your pick-up and drop-off pre-arranged gives you peace of mind, but of course, it's more expensive than taking Uber locally, which is understandable. The fare from the city center to the airport is ¥3800. I chose this option because I was worried about not being able to get a ride if there was heavy snow or traffic disruptions. Spending a little less money reduced my anxiety, so I think it was worth it. The driver was very friendly and drove smoothly. The car was a taxi, so if you have a lot of luggage, you might need to consider the price. Just for your reference.
We arrived at the cable car at around 4:30 PM, but there was a huge queue. We waited 60 minutes to go up and 50 minutes to go down. It was mostly outdoors, so it was cold. I recommend bringing plenty of warm clothing. The views were amazing.
