Everything was so much fun, but it was a pity there were too many people snorkeling in the Blue Hole; all you could see when you looked up were feet. But the instructors were great!
The steps from the parking lot to the beach aren't many. You can easily swim to the Blue Grotto. I highly recommend paying the extra 3000 yen for the video – it's totally worth it! The guide was very responsible and provided excellent service. The photos and videos were quite clear, and the fish-feeding experience was also very fun. My family and I had wonderful memories.
This trip abroad with my family was originally planned with a scuba diving trip at another resort, and my family wanted to go snorkeling here. However, the scuba diving trip was canceled due to a typhoon, so I joined the snorkeling trip at the last minute. I was initially disappointed that I didn't get to go scuba diving in Okinawa, but the snorkeling experience was fantastic. The Taiwanese instructor, "Colin," was very kind, attentive, and caring towards his students. He also took photos for us throughout the snorkeling session, making it a very relaxing experience. The counter staff were also Taiwanese and spoke Mandarin, so there were no language barriers. The showers are outdoors, and you have to wear your swimsuit to shower, but they provide multi-purpose shower gel and hair dryers, which is very convenient. We were asked to leave our personal belongings in our car, but the counter staff would keep our keys.
The instructors were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our family's exploration of the Blue Cave safe and fun. They were especially fond of children and took many beautiful photos for us. Best of all, the facilities at the shop were excellent, with very clean and well-equipped shower and toilet facilities, which was incredibly convenient for travelers with tight schedules. The entire experience was smooth and enjoyable, a flawless water activity experience – highly recommended!
This snorkeling shop is highly recommended! The instructors are incredibly attentive, providing detailed explanations and taking photos (for free). They constantly check on our progress, and even in rainy weather, snorkeling is still possible. I was initially worried about large waves, but they were calmer than the waves off Taiwan's outlying islands!
I highly recommend this diving instructor!!! Beginner-friendly; even first-time divers have no problem! The instructor is very patient and guides us thoroughly. On our trip, there were three of us, with two instructors (one for two people and one for one person) leading our dives. Because it was my first time diving, I was extremely nervous, constantly asking to surface and asking many questions, but the instructor didn't seem impatient at all. Instead, he answered all my questions patiently, making me feel completely at ease throughout the dive. The instructor also took photos and videos for us during the dive, so you don't need to worry about not having your own equipment. There were so many beautiful fish underwater! If you come to Okinawa, you absolutely can't miss the diving experience ❤️
