I. Group Formation and Cancellation Rules This tour requires a minimum of 6 participants to proceed. If the number of participants does not meet this minimum, we will cancel the tour and send a cancellation notice via email 4 days prior to departure. In the event of severe weather conditions such as typhoons or blizzards, a decision on whether to proceed will be made at 23:00 local time the day before departure, and participants will be notified of the result via email as needed.
II. Rules for Assemblies and Late Arrivals
Please arrive at the designated location 10 minutes before the agreed meeting time; to avoid affecting the rest of the group's itinerary, failure to arrive on time will be considered as automatic abandonment of the group, and no refund will be given.
III. Physical Condition Restrictions: Individuals with high blood pressure, acrophobia, asthma, epilepsy, heart disease, or pregnant women are not suitable for this tour and should not register. Travelers suffering from asthma, bronchial-related diseases, or heart disease are strictly prohibited from entering the Aso volcano area; toxic gases released by the volcano may trigger acute attacks of these conditions, potentially leading to death. Please be sure to comply.
IV. Vehicle Configuration and Service Description: If the number of participants is small, a small vehicle will be arranged with a Chinese-speaking driver who will also act as the tour leader. English-language guided tours will not be available. Please be aware that this product is a shared ride service, and you will be traveling with other passengers. Except for designated stops at attractions, temporary stops will not be accepted along the way.
V. Notes on children's travel: Young children must also be counted as passengers, and child safety seats cannot be provided on the vehicle; minor passengers must be accompanied by an adult relative throughout the tour.
VI. Changes to Attractions and Itinerary Adjustments: Aso-Kusasenri Observatory and Aso Volcano Museum may be temporarily closed due to force majeure events such as weather, typhoons, or volcanic activity. In such cases, the itinerary order will be flexibly adjusted according to the actual situation, and entry cannot be guaranteed in advance. If the crater is officially closed on the day of the visit, the itinerary will extend the Kusasenri tour time: 70 minutes if the crater is open normally; an additional 30 minutes if the crater is closed. Lunch is at your own expense. Whether or not entry to the crater is possible depends entirely on real-time information from local Japanese authorities, and the driver/guide will adjust the itinerary accordingly. The final entry time for Kumamoto Castle is 16:00; it is recommended to allow ample time for sightseeing to avoid missing the entry time.
VII. Itinerary Coordination and Order Adjustment: This is a group tour with shared transportation. Passengers are requested to strictly adhere to the agreed meeting times at each attraction and cooperate with the driver/guide's arrangements. Weekends and Japanese public holidays are prone to traffic congestion and other unforeseen circumstances. The driver/guide reserves the right to flexibly adjust the order of attraction visits based on road conditions. Please ensure you understand and agree to this policy before placing your order.
8. Flight Connection Liability Statement: If passengers have plans to take a flight on the same day, it is not recommended to book this itinerary; if passengers miss their flight due to traffic delays, the operator shall not be liable for any related losses or responsibilities.
9. Carriage Environment Regulations: To maintain a clean and comfortable environment, eating and drinking are prohibited in the carriages. If the vehicle is soiled due to personal eating or drinking, the passenger will be required to pay for the related costs in accordance with the local vehicle cleaning fee standards in Japan.
