This Kanazawa night foodie tour takes you on a journey to discover these hidden gems with the guidance of a friendly local expert. You’ll begin your exploration in Katamachi, known for its diverse array of restaurants and bars. The first stop is an authentic Kappo-style restaurant, where fresh, seasonal ingredients are prepared to showcase their natural flavours, perfectly paired with local sake or other drinks.

Next, you’ll wander through the historic Samurai residential district, where the traditional architecture and samurai legacy come alive. If you pay attention to small details like stone paths and bay windows, you can truly appreciate the aesthetic beauty of the samurai era. After that, you’ll warm up with oden at a cosy eatery, savouring an assortment of simmered dishes complemented by local sake or beer in a relaxed, retro setting.

To conclude this tour, you’ll visit a sake bar offering matcha and Japanese sweets. There, you can experience Kiki-sake, sampling three to five kinds of sake with different flavours, while you can also learn how locals enjoy their sake!
