How do I return my kimono?
Kimono returns are free:
- Same day: regular return by 18:00, or night return.
- Later: next-day return or hotel return.
- Another store: cross-store return with free luggage transfer: Kiyomizu-dera Store, Yasaka Shrine (Gion) Store, Fushimi Inari Store, Arashiyama Store (luggage transfer not available for now).

Choose your kimono: 1000+ kimonos to choose from; as a leading merchant, we always "reject hidden costs and advocate transparency with no extra charges"; therefore, you can choose according to your reservation plan (if you upgrade, you will need to pay the difference).
Dressing up: Taking a lace kimono as an example, it not only tests the dressing skills of the dresser, but also the level of matching accessories and the care of the process (there are two layers, so it is not crowded and the comfort of the experience is guaranteed to the greatest extent possible).
Hair Styling: Beautiful and unique hair accessories. The shop owner is a seasoned handicraft enthusiast, and there are currently 278 handcrafted hair accessories for you to choose from; making you stand out from the crowd and look even more beautiful in photos!
Japanese-style makeup: Due to the makeup artist's limited time and energy, this is only available in certain options; in addition, high-end makeup and a dressing table are provided free of charge for guests who want to create their own makeup.
Free luggage storage: Even large luggage is free. If you need to return your kimono to another store, we will arrange a time to transfer your luggage to the return store.
Kimono deposit: In reality, Kkday customers are quite well-mannered, so no deposit is required. In addition, there is no charge for cleaning mud or dirt splattering.
Kimono return: Supported at Kiyomizu-dera store, Arashiyama store, Yasaka Shrine (Gion) store, and Fushimi Inari store (Arashiyama store does not support luggage transfer).
Next-day return: Guests returning their kimonos at the hotel should deposit them at the hotel reception before 11:00 AM the next day (free of charge).

Stains, Cleaning, and Damage
Normal stains from sightseeing (mud splashes, etc.) incur no cleaning fee (each kimono is washed after every guest). Damage is charged at our discretion as a token depreciation fee, so please don't worry.
Arriving Early or Late
Please try to arrive on time. We will still serve you if you arrive early, late, or on a later date, and no late fee is charged if your return is delayed by traffic or any other reason.
Selection Time
From entering the store to leaving fully dressed usually takes 40–60 minutes, depending on how long you spend choosing.
Photography
Photo sessions must be booked separately. The booked time is for reference only; the session is timed from when you arrive at the shooting location.
