The rocky areas here are made of white sandstone, making them easy to walk on, and the sea is shallow, so there are many places you can walk through even if you are not a strong swimmer. There are also deeper areas where you can jump in, explore sea caves eroded by waves, and discover hidden beaches accessible only by water. There is a section where you can rappel using a rope, and you can choose the height (5m or 9m). The seawater is clear and the water temperature is warm, allowing for enjoyment over a long season. Summers in the Sea of Japan are generally calm (the sea is very still! Unfortunately, not ideal for surfing), making it perfect for swimming and playing. However, on hot, sunny days, onshore winds blowing from the open sea toward the beach can cause waves to pick up, sometimes making conditions rough. What is Coasteering?
It involves walking, swimming, jumping, and exploring through cave tunnels along the coastline.
Enjoy the complex terrain carved by the rough winter waves!
Packed into a course of about 400m, there are various ways to play: exploring two cave tunnels and numerous smaller caves, observing local wildlife (fish, shellfish, and swallows nesting on the rocks in spring), and playing on the weathered terrain. While there is some swimming involved, most of the area is shallow enough to stand in. *Please note that fishing for fish, shellfish, and seaweed is prohibited for non-members, so please enjoy them for viewing only. Thank you for your understanding.

Regarding cancellation of the event:

If the waves are too big or if danger is expected due to rising water levels, the tour will be cancelled.

Please note the following when participating in this course:

Participation requirements: Junior high school students and above (elementary school students are also welcome if they have experience participating in a canyoning course and are confident in their swimming). If you are late, you may not be able to participate.

Other important points to note:

The tour will proceed rain or shine. Regarding cancellations due to bad weather (when rainfall of 7mm or more per hour continues), or when rain of 35mm/h or more falls in a 30-minute to 1-hour period, if it is clear that the tour cannot be held the day before, we will contact you by phone the evening before, between 6:00 and 6:30 on the day, or between 7:30 and 8:00 for customers with reservations for the afternoon session, to inform you that the tour will be cancelled. The tour will be cancelled if the wave height is 1m or higher.

remarks:

We are currently running a special campaign where we rent GoPro cameras, with an additional 2,000 yen discount off to 1,500 yen (you must bring a high-speed microSD card (32GB V30 or larger) or a PC, or we also sell microSD cards. If you are unsure, please purchase one at the base. We will not compensate you if you purchase one at another store and it does not work. Even the cheapest ones cost over 1,500 yen). Rentals with a microSD card are 3,000 yen.
