Within the 2-hour session, you can complete one piece with a total diameter and height of up to 24cm within the price. *It is possible to finish larger pieces with an additional firing fee. Open to ages 4 and up! We cherish your desire to 'create something!' Small children can enjoy it like playing with clay, while adults can return to their childhood and create a one-of-a-kind piece. This is a technique where clay is rolled into 'strings' and stacked to form the shape of a vessel. This is the basic method for making bowls and teacups by hand, and you can experience the entire process through to completion. There is a little trick to rolling the clay into 'strings', but everyone gets 'immersed' in the process. Tall vessels are a bit more challenging.
☆Slab Building☆
Roll the clay into 'sheets' and press them against molds to make plates or bowls. Elementary school children can wrap clay around empty cans to make cups or pencil holders; it is fun for both adults and children. Since you can create shapes with uniform thickness, you can make original, easy-to-use pieces despite them being handmade. Slab building might be the most suitable for plates!
☆Objects☆
Let's make various shapes with free ideas! Crumple up newspaper to make a 'core', then attach sheets of clay to it to form the shape. Since the instructor also loves making three-dimensional objects, they will provide careful advice and support! Let's turn what you want to make into reality! No matter what shape it takes, it will be a wonderful, one-of-a-kind piece in the world. Exciting!

・Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. ・If you would like to make a piece using the "string making" course, please make a reservation for a course that ends at 1:00 PM (we cannot accept reservations starting after 3:00 PM). ・If you would like to finish a piece whose diameter + height exceeds 24 cm, an additional firing fee will be charged. ・If you would like your finished piece mailed to you, an additional shipping fee will be charged. ・As this is a time-limited experience, pottery making that takes more than two hours will incur an additional facility usage fee (500 yen per hour).
