Located on the 4th floor of Canal City. We offer a wide menu featuring carefully selected ingredients, including our signature 'beef tongue with barley and grated yam' and the Canal City branch-exclusive Hakata specialty 'Motsunabe'. We look forward to welcoming everyone from solo diners to large groups.
Chewy texture and juicy flavor. We've sliced it thinly to bring out the flavor so you can fully enjoy the deliciousness of our beef tongue. We don't use any additives, such as softeners, to make the meat tender, so please enjoy Umaya's beef tongue, which is grilled to a fragrant aroma over a high flame.
Mitsuse chickens are raised in a free-range chicken coop at the foot of Mt. Sefuri, on the border between Fukuoka and Saga prefectures, in the midst of nature. They are healthy, delicious and packed with umami.
In the world of Kabuki, where conventions are highly valued, Ichikawa Ennosuke III is known for being "unconventional" and constantly taking on new challenges, such as Super Kabuki, Revival Kyogen, and joint performances with Peking Opera. "Umaya" was born as a result of Ennosuke's extraordinary ideas and drive.
The sunken kotatsu seating area is spacious enough for customers to relax and unwind. Please feel free to come and take a break during your shopping trip or have a meal before heading home.
