  • Miyama Toyukan is an experiential recreational facility located in 'Miyama, the Village of Satsuma Ware' in Hioki City, Kagoshima Prefecture. Currently, our facility hosts 4,000 groups of guests annually for pottery experiences. In our shop, we sell products from Modern Satsuma Co., Ltd., which operates the facility, and display and sell works created by the various kilns and workshops scattered throughout Miyama.

  • You can enjoy a casual pottery experience under the guidance of a potter. If you have specific items you would like to make, such as mugs, rice bowls, or nameplates, please inquire when making your reservation.
