  • Since it's the same bus for the round trip, you can leave any luggage you don't need for hiking on the bus.
  • All participants will receive an original bandana.
  • All participants will receive a downloadable image of their summit certificate.
  • After descending the mountain, you can enjoy a bath at Kirakubo (free face towel, bath towel rental 200 yen).
  • Compared to the Fujiyoshida trail, there are fewer climbers, so even on busy weekends, congestion up to the 9th station tends to be relatively sparse. You'll mostly encounter descending climbers or climbers arriving the next day in the lower sections where the trail widens, so it's not too stressful.

Product Info

The content of this product is provided by machine translation and may not reflect the actual information, please take this into consideration before booking.

Mount Fuji is a symbol of Japan, and as the highest mountain in Japan, boasting an elevation of 3,776 meters, it attracts many climbers from both within Japan and overseas.
Its appeal was further enhanced when it was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 2013.
The Fujinomiya route starts from the 5th station at an altitude of approximately 2,400m, making it the closest starting point to the summit among the four main routes.
This route also offers the closest climb to Kengamine (3,776m), the highest point on Mount Fuji.
The sunrise from the mountaintop is a breathtaking sight that will leave you speechless! It will be an unforgettable and moving moment in your life.
(※Depending on the weather and crowd conditions, it may not be possible to reach the summit.)

[Notes on climbing Fuji]

  • Both the Yoshida Route and the Fujinomiya Route require a toll (entrance fee) of 4,000 yen per person per visit. (Cash only, payable at the trailhead at the 5th station on the day of your visit.)
  • All tours will proceed regardless of rain. However, in the event of severe weather, such as heavy rain from a typhoon, we may contact you in advance to inform you that the tour has been canceled. Also, please be aware that the climb may be canceled on the day of the tour if the weather changes suddenly and the local guide or the Mt. Fuji Guidance Center decides to do so. In this case, the tour fee will not be refunded.
  • The weather on Mt. Fuji is extremely unpredictable, and rain gear is essential for mountaineering. If you do not have the necessary equipment, you may be asked to retire from the climb. In this case, no refund will be given.
  • If you have to abandon your climb midway due to illness or other reasons, and end up staying or resting at a mountain hut other than the one you were scheduled to stay at that day, you will be responsible for the accommodation and rest fees, and no refund will be given for the tour price. Also, you will be responsible for your own descent, and a guide will not be able to accompany you.
  • Both the Yoshida Trail and the Fujinomiya Trail are at altitudes exceeding 2,000 meters. During the climb, the air is thin, and there is a risk of altitude sickness. Therefore, please take extra care of your physical condition on the day of departure, avoiding sleep deprivation and hangovers.
  • Depending on the weather and the route, you may not be able to see the sunrise. Also, during peak seasons, you may not be able to reach the summit due to congestion on the hiking trails.
  • The walking times within the course are approximate and may change significantly depending on mountain conditions.
  • Guided tours are designed to minimize risks. However, even with a guided tour, ultimately, you are responsible for your own safety during the climb.
  • During the climb, the guide's instructions are absolute for the safety of all participants. The guide will check your climbing equipment, and if your equipment is inadequate, you do not follow the guide's instructions, or the guide determines that you are unwell or not fit enough, you may be forced to retire or leave the group for safety reasons at the guide's discretion. In such cases, no refunds or compensation will be provided.
  • If your equipment is insufficient or inadequate, your mountain guide or local staff may advise you to rent or purchase additional equipment.
  • There are forks in the descent paths on each route (Yoshida and Fujinomiya). If you take the wrong descent path, you will be responsible for arranging and paying for a return trip or rejoining the group midway. Even if you rejoin the group midway, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to continue the tour from that point onward. Please be careful.

[Regarding cancellations]

  • If roads to Mt. Fuji are closed or suspended due to the effects of a typhoon, and we determine that there is a low probability of road reopening or service resuming, the tour will be canceled.
  • Cancellations (changes) made by the customer due to weather conditions, trail conditions, etc., will incur the usual cancellation (change) fees.
  • Even if the tour is cancelled after you have cancelled (changed) your reservation at your own discretion, we will not refund the cancellation (change) fee.
  • In the event of a booking being cancelled due to natural disasters such as bad weather, the tour may be cancelled after the booking has been confirmed. In such cases, the tour operator will contact the emergency contact person by 7 PM the day before the scheduled tour.
  • If the event is canceled on the day due to bad weather or other reasons, the organizers will contact you directly by email, so please be sure to check your email and incoming messages on the day.

[About mountain huts]

  • Mountain huts used on climbing tours are different from regular accommodations (hotels, inns, etc.). They are primarily facilities for short rest and sleep.
  • The mountain huts are mixed-gender shared rooms, and during peak times, each person may be allocated less than one tatami mat in space. Bedding (pillow, futon, blanket) or sleeping bags are provided.
  • Dinner at the mountain hut will be a simple meal such as curry rice. Breakfast will be a packed lunch.
  • There are no baths, showers, or washrooms. Toilets are available for a fee. Water is very precious and cannot be used freely. Bottled water is sold at each mountain hut for a fee.
  • Some mountain huts may not have a changing area.
  • Due to poor network conditions, many locations do not accept credit card or electronic payments. Please prepare cash (approximately 5,000 to 10,000 yen).

[Other Notes]

  • While there are no specific age restrictions, guided tours are limited to elementary school students and older. Additionally, we may decline participation in free tours for children and the elderly. Those who are elderly, have cardiovascular conditions, or have a history of such conditions should consult a doctor before participating.
  • For safety reasons, we do not allow infants or young children to ride the bus free of charge. Please note that even if you come to the meeting place on the day of travel, we may refuse your boarding.
  • You will be traveling to and from the same bus, so you can leave any luggage you don't need for your hike on the bus. However, please be sure to keep your valuables with you.
  • Please note that after arriving at the 5th station of Mt. Fuji, the bus will proceed back to the base of the mountain after passengers have disembarked, so you will not be able to return to the bus to retrieve any items you have left behind.
  • Please note that bus schedules and arrival times are approximate and may not be accurate due to traffic conditions. We are also unable to provide taxis, accommodations, meals, or refunds for any inconvenience caused by such delays.
  • If we determine that a passenger is engaging in disruptive behavior towards other passengers (such as verbal abuse or excessive intoxication), we reserve the right to refuse boarding. No refunds will be given in such cases.
  • Bringing in or consuming strong-smelling foods such as hamburgers is prohibited inside the vehicle. Drinking alcohol is also not permitted.
