Located on Oyafuko-dori in the North Tenjin area, we offer sushi made from fresh fish carefully selected by our chef, who visits the market every morning, all at an affordable price. In the evening, we also serve a variety of à la carte dishes perfect for pairing with drinks. Enjoy seasonal menus based on the day's catch, including sashimi, grilled dishes, and fried items, along with a wide selection of sake and Kagoshima shochu. Our relaxed space features both counter and table seating. Whether you are dining alone or hosting a banquet, please feel free to visit us!
We are proud of our sushi made with fresh fish carefully selected by the chef at Nagahama Fish Market every morning. We also use "Isa rice" from Kagoshima Prefecture, which is delicious even when cooled. To ensure that everyone is satisfied, the toppings are thicker than in other sushi restaurants. Please enjoy each and every sushi with plenty of volume! In the evening, we also offer a la carte dishes that go well with alcohol. We have a wide variety of recommended dishes that match the day's stock, such as the seasonal "cod milt". We also have a wide variety of sashimi, seared dishes, grilled dishes, simmered dishes, and tempura.
At lunchtime, we offer large nigiri sushi and seafood bowls at reasonable prices. Fish is procured every morning, so you can enjoy different toppings every day. You can choose between white rice or vinegared rice for your seafood bowl, and extra large portions are free! You can savour the luxury of freshly caught seasonal ingredients, such as tuna and sea bream. We recommend pouring a generous amount of sesame soy sauce over your sushi. We also offer a wide variety of seasonal menu items, such as sashimi set meals and premium nigiri.
Our restaurant is a popular sushi restaurant that anyone can feel free to drop in to. The clean interior is equipped with counter seats and table seats lined with fresh fish. We always have about 10 types of sake on hand, as well as a wide variety of shochu from the chef's hometown, Isa region of Kagoshima Prefecture. We also recommend premium potato shochu such as "Isami," "Isa Izumi," and "Isa Oizumi." Enjoy alcohol and sushi by yourself, or enjoy a banquet with a course meal. Spend your time however you like in our lively space.
At the counter is chef Imamura Taro, a native of Kagoshima Prefecture. After leaving his hometown, he spent around 20 years training at famous restaurants in Fukuoka, such as Takadama and Tatsumi Sushi. He then took over the business from Taro Sushi, which his father still runs in his hometown of Isa City. With the full force of his heart, he opened Hakata Taro Sushi in the Kitatenjin area. With the desire to "offer quality food at reasonable prices to our customers," we aim to create a friendly restaurant where customers can drop in casually.

Japanese restaurants strictly adhere to the reservation time system. If you are late, it will be considered as a voluntary cancellation of the reservation. Latecomers cannot request changes, cancellations, or refunds for this reason.

Dining time is limited. If you're late and therefore shorten the dining time, the dining time cannot be extended.
