- Biwako Hakodateyama
'Biwako Hakodateyama,' located on Mount Hakodate in the Kosei area of Shiga Prefecture, is one of the largest natural resort parks in the Kansai region, situated at an altitude of approximately 680m.
After an approximately 8-minute gondola ride to the summit station, you can enjoy seasonal scenery and amusements while looking down at the view of Lake Biwa.

*On weekdays and off-peak days including weekends and holidays, activities are scheduled by time slot. The available times are 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM. Please register at the general activity reception desk at least 30 minutes before your scheduled activity time.

- Activity passes can be purchased online until 9:00 AM on the day of the event.
- The general activity reception hours are from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The last time to register for each activity is 3:00 PM for Alp Adventure, 4:00 PM for Zipline, 4:00 PM for Buggy Adventure, and 3:30 PM for Rainbow Slider. Due to congestion, the hours may be extended on weekend nights when the Night Gondola is operating. Customers who register in the afternoon during peak hours may not be able to participate in the activities due to waiting times. We appreciate your understanding.
- After online sales end, please purchase Biwako Hakodateyama admission tickets on-site. After entering the park, please purchase same-day tickets (same-day tickets are 300 yen more) at the Activity General Reception (in front of the gondola summit station). Please note that tickets may be sold out. Same-day tickets are 300 yen more than the price of the combined activity ticket minus the admission ticket price (adults 2800 yen, children 1400 yen).
- If all activities (zipline, Alps Adventure, buggy adventure, rainbow slider) are canceled due to weather conditions, a full refund will be issued only if you have entered the park (before using the gondola).
- If your activity is cancelled after you have entered the park, you will receive a refund at the activity reception (in front of the gondola summit station) by presenting your ticket, minus the entrance fee (2800 yen for adults, 1400 yen for children).
- In case of light rain, all activities will be held. Please check on-site for details.
- In case of strong winds, the zipline will be closed, but no refunds will be given. Please use the Alps Adventure, Buggy Adventure, or Rainbow Slider instead.
- Application forms are available inside the gondola. Please fill them out during your ride and then come to the activity reception desk.

Intermediate course = 120cm or taller; Advanced course = 150cm or taller. *Children up to the 3rd grade of elementary school must be accompanied by a guardian.
*Please note that we will have to decline service if your weight is less than 20kg on the day of your visit.
- Zipline height: up to 195cm, weight: 30-100kg
- Buggy Adventure is for high school students and older, children aged 4 to elementary school age ride with an adult, and junior high school students must consult with on-site staff.
- Rainbow Slider: For children aged 4 and older, and weighing less than 100 kg.
[Regarding usage restrictions]
We will be limiting the number of times and duration of use for each activity experience.
A: Buggy Adventure is limited to one experience per day.
B: Shipline is limited to one trial session per day.
C: The Alps Adventure experience will be limited to approximately 90 minutes.
D: The rainbow slider is limited to one ride per experience.
*You can participate in a maximum of three experiences out of A, B, C, and D. It is also possible to use the same experience three times.
*We may check your wristband with a stamp or a written waiver.
