For Yufuin Floral Village, approximately 30 to 60 minutes is generally recommended to explore its charming, compact area. This allows sufficient time to browse the unique themed shops, admire the whimsical architecture, and take photos. While small, its intricate details and delightful atmosphere make it a pleasant stop, offering a quick yet memorable European village experience within Yufuin.
At Beppu Kamado Hell, visitors can explore one of Beppu's famous 'Hells' (Jigoku), characterized by its bubbling mud and steaming hot springs. The experience includes observing various natural phenomena like the 'Oniishi Bozu Jigoku' (Monk's Head Hell) with its grey mud pools and the vibrant blue waters of the 'Umi Jigoku' (Sea Hell). You can also enjoy unique local treats cooked using the geothermal heat, such as 'Jigoku Mushi Pudding' (Hell-steamed pudding) and boiled eggs.
