Houdongkeng Waterfall

(Requires a 10-minute walk up steep stairs; please assess your physical fitness before booking. Not recommended for those with a fear of heights.)
Visit Houdongkeng Waterfall in Yilan to overlook the beautiful Lanyang landscape from the valley. The surrounding streams make you feel as if you are in a hidden paradise. At the top of the waterfall, there is a large rock perfect for photos; standing on it offers a breathtaking view. Local legends also suggest that the waterfall is a secret spot where love can blossom into a successful relationship.

Black House Cafe

Black House Cafe offers house-roasted coffee, tea grown in their own tea gardens, and handmade desserts. While enjoying brunch, you can watch the rice waves dancing in the wind outside the window under the high-ceiling wooden beams.

A.maze Rabbit Maze Cafe

This cafe was converted from an outdoor kindergarten and features a dreamy rainbow skywalk, a pink house, a white maze, and sky swings. The space is spacious and comfortable, allowing you to relax and enjoy delicious food while overlooking natural scenery such as Guishan Island, the Lanyang Plain, and the Pacific Ocean.

Nayi Villa

Nayi Villa offers the currently popular glamping accommodation, bringing travelers a brand-new luxury camping experience with the concept of a wild luxury hotel. The camping park is located at the border of Jiaoxi Township and Yuanshan Township in Yilan County, adjacent to the Dajiao Creek, at an altitude of about 200 meters, and surrounded by mountains on three sides. You can often see wild animals such as Formosan rock macaques, Taiwan blue magpies, egrets, nightjars, and woodpeckers. Nayi Villa provides a one-night, three-meal service including breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner, allowing you to fully enjoy delicious food in these leisurely mountains and forests. Weishui Hill

To commemorate the pioneer of Taiwan's democracy, Mr. Chiang Wei-shui, his remains were moved from Taipei back to his Furusato of Yilan. Weishui Hill was built at a cost of millions and is located on the highest hill of the Cherry Blossom Cemetery. It is a secret spot that is so beautiful it does not look like a cemetery. There are two must-visit scenes here: the 'Cherry Blossom Bridge' with its slanted wall design, which makes you feel like you are falling into a time tunnel when you walk inside, and the 'Weishui Hill' Eagle Rock Point 2.0, where you can overlook the stunning scenery of the Lanyang Plain from a suspended vantage point. It is a favorite IG photo spot for influencers.
