This tour was definitely worth joining. It conveniently took us to different attractions and allowed us to learn about the design of the Huang Huihuang Western-style buildings and village architecture, as well as the history of the August 23 Artillery Battle. At the Mashan Observatory, we learned about the defense of Kinmen back then. Our guide, Mr. He, was very thoughtful; he specially took us to the Zhongshan Forest Visitor Center to watch a 10-minute film to learn about the culture and customs of Kinmen and to introduce us to the village of Hecuo. I didn't know that there used to be horse racing there. Finally, he took us to watch the sunset and we took some beautiful photos. I was also very happy that Mr. He took us to eat the fast food that soldiers often eat, the very fragrant taro milk ice, sorghum minced pork rice, and chicken soup with a special ingredient—all of which are definitely worth trying.

This Little Kinmen tour was comprehensive yet not rushed. Our driver and guide, Mr. He, was very friendly and provided clear and detailed explanations. During our visit to Jiugong Tunnel, the Landmine Exhibition Hall, and Beishan Broadcasting Station, Mr. He demonstrated extensive historical knowledge, answering our questions and giving us ample time to explore and take photos without rushing us. He also highly recommended local delicacies: oyster noodles, fried taro chips, taro shaved ice, fermented beef, the unique "Bastard" (a type of fried dough), and Chiang Kai-shek's special coffee – all delicious and satisfying. The vehicle was also very comfortable. Finally, he took us to Juguang Tower for a night view, offering panoramic views of the Kinmen Bridge and the beautiful nightscape of Xiamen.
