Our guide, Xiao Ma, was excellent. He managed the time very well, provided clear explanations, and showed us all the stamping locations for the six modes of transportation. Please note that the area around Murodo, where you can view the snow walls, is extremely crowded, with long queues for food and drinks. Xiao Ma is very professional and suggests buying some food the day before to eat on the way up. There's plenty of time in the Gassho-zukuri village; we took the shuttle bus directly to the observation deck (300 yen per person per trip). I recommend taking this bus as it's fast and convenient. The driver was also excellent and safely delivered everyone to their destination.
The tour leader was attentive and dedicated, the itinerary for the Tateyama Kurobe bus stop was well-organized, the time management was excellent, and the translators worked hard to help us understand the schedule. The scenery of Tateyama Kurobe was truly stunning and well worth a visit.
We took all the transportation we needed for the Kurobe Alpine Route! The snow walls were beautiful! The canyon train was stunning! Most importantly, our Japanese tour guide was dedicated and responsible! That was a huge plus.
The itinerary for Tateyama Black was just right. The group tickets were handled by the tour guide, which was quick and convenient. As global warming becomes more and more serious, the height of the snow wall has decreased from 23 meters 20 years ago to 12 meters now.
This is the second time I've bought a JR pass on KKday. This time, the plan included a free Ishikawa Rakuen Pass, which was a great deal. I'll definitely buy tickets from this platform again for my future trips to Japan.
