Visits to the bamboo forest, shrines, etc., are optional personal activities included in the 2.5 to 3 hours of free time! If you plan to do that time in advance, it would be good to reduce waiting times at restaurants! I rode a rickshaw, which was located at the starting point of Togetsukyo Bridge. There is a floating snack bar near the end of the boat tour, so please bring cash if you plan to use it.
