Hakodateyama Ski Resort

There was plenty of snow, and we were blessed with good weather, so the lifts weren't crowded and we were able to enjoy it. The food was delicious and we were able to enjoy the spectacular views, so we were very satisfied.

Review from a Thai person 😁 It was so much fun! The area is wide and not too steep, perfect for beginners. I went with my girlfriend and friends on February 10th. It snowed, the weather was cool and comfortable, and there wasn't much sun. It wasn't crowded on a weekday. We booked a full-day pass.

Taking the tour bus from Osaka is very convenient. The tour leader will be waiting for you at the agreed-upon point on time and will explain the precautions on the bus beforehand to avoid wasting unnecessary time on-site and to maximize your time playing in the snow. In addition to the basic equipment, you can purchase extra gear on-site if you don't want to prepare in advance, making it a great choice for families and beginners.

On February 5th, our family of four participated in a skiing trip, including a package with Chinese-speaking ski lessons. The driver, guide, and instructors all spoke Chinese, making communication very easy and providing excellent service. We departed from Osaka, a 6-hour round trip by car, and skied for 6 hours. The instructor ratio was 1:7 (two families), with approximately 2 hours of instruction per lesson, covering basics, clothing, equipment, and the ski resort. Everyone's athletic ability and adaptability are different, so the time allotted to each student varies, which is normal. The weather was great that day, sunny and beautiful for photos, but very hot and sweaty. In the afternoon, my son and I took the ski lift down an easy slope, and the whole family was very satisfied. My son said that skiing was the best part of our trip to Japan – awesome!
