Book your tickets through Kkday. The ticket counter is right next to the exit of the Don Quijote Boat Route. This time, I went with my elders and discovered there are even more luxurious boats, but operated by different companies. Hopefully, we can try them out sometime. We were quite lucky this time; we met a lovely captain who only spoke Japanese, but his expressions were very rich. My elders were very happy! 👍
This was my first time traveling to Amanohashidate. Luckily, I booked a group tour through KKDAY. The day of the tour coincided with my move from Kyoto to Osaka, so getting off in Osaka was incredibly convenient. Our tour guide, Mr. Shun, was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. At first, the guide only spoke English, and we thought we had booked the wrong tour, but we later realized he spoke English first and then Chinese. The passengers on the bus came from various countries, and the guides after disembarking were also primarily in English, but if anyone needed Chinese, the guide would ask for their input – very kind! At each stop, just following the guide allowed us to hear interesting local stories, which was really fun. Mr. Shun is a very competent and professional guide, and we would definitely want to go on this tour again. Thank you so much! We will definitely book this tour again next time we need it!
Actually, a medium-sized ramen is quite filling! I recommend adding garlic to make it less greasy. Must-buy souvenirs, must-take photos, a must-visit in Japan!! Chestnut buns are the best, even Kikawa fans should try them.
The observation deck is quite small and ends after a few steps, but the slide is quite fun, and they even take free photos for you—the kind you can download at home—which is quite convenient.
