Depart from Nagoya and visit the dreamlike autumn scenery! This tour offers two options: a cultural stroll at Eiho-ji Temple or orange picking in Gamagori. Whether you choose the ancient temple gardens and Zen atmosphere of Plan A, or the orange picking and Omi beef sukiyaki lunch of Plan B, you can enjoy the cherry blossoms and autumn leaves at Obara in the afternoon, and finally head to Korankei to experience the romantic autumn colors of daytime maple leaves and nighttime illuminations. (Illumination events are only until November 30. Departures in December will not have night illuminations; the Korankei visit will be changed to daytime maple viewing, and the duration will be arranged according to the day's schedule.)
The itinerary begins at Kokei-zan Eiho-ji Temple in Gifu Prefecture. This ancient Rinzai Buddhist temple, founded in the 14th century, is famous for its exquisite pond gardens, the "Muki-bashi" (Bridge of No Return), and the "Wakyu-chi" (Dragon Pond). In autumn, the fiery red leaves contrast beautifully with the antique architecture, making it the perfect spot for quiet contemplation of Zen and photography.
Next, we'll head to the Ohara Shiki-zakura (Four Seasons Cherry Blossoms) in Aichi Prefecture. Every November, the cherry blossoms here bloom amidst the crimson autumn leaves, creating a dreamlike seasonal spectacle where pink blossoms intertwine with the maple leaves—a rare sight in Japan where cherry blossoms and autumn leaves coexist. It's perfect for a leisurely stroll, taking photos, and creating romantic autumn memories.
Xianglanxi: The final stop on your itinerary is Xianglanxi, a top choice for viewing autumn foliage in the East China Sea. This red leaf trail, built along the Bachuan River, is planted with over 4,000 maple trees. Children aged 0-2 years old can be carried in arms for free if they do not occupy a seat; children 3 years and older are charged the same as adults. Each group of guests is only allowed to bring one infant or toddler who does not occupy a seat. If a child who does not occupy a seat is not informed of the trip, the passenger may be refused boarding, and no refund will be given.
Each person may bring one piece of luggage free of charge, with no size restrictions (please inform us in advance when registering; if you fail to inform us in advance and cause overcrowding in the carriage, the driver/guide has the right to refuse you boarding, and the fee will not be refunded). Any excess luggage will be charged at 2000 yen per piece on-site.
Unauthorized departure from the group is prohibited during the trip. If you leave the group midway, it will be considered as a voluntary abandonment of this trip and a termination of the transaction, in which case no refund will be given. Any personal injury or property loss resulting from this will be the sole responsibility of the traveler.
According to Japanese labor laws, drivers are limited to a maximum of 10 hours of work per day. During weekends and Japanese national holidays, traffic congestion and overcrowding at tourist attractions are common unforeseen circumstances; the itinerary may be adjusted accordingly, so please be prepared. For driving safety, the organizer reserves the right to adjust the itinerary based on actual conditions (such as shortening stops or canceling some attractions). Such adjustments cannot be used as grounds for refunds or complaints.
Option B is a package deal that includes admission to orange picking and lunch. No refunds will be given for unused portions. (Meals are a fixed menu. Please note any special dietary requirements (such as vegetarianism or food allergies) when booking. We will try our best to assist, but cannot guarantee complete accommodation.)
The itinerary is for reference only. Actual arrival and stay times will be adjusted according to traffic, weather, activities, and crowd conditions. Please be flexible. When the group size is small, a small vehicle with a driver who also acts as a brief tour guide will be used. In this case, the driver will prioritize safe driving and will only provide brief explanations on the vehicle; no guided tours will be offered.
This is a shared ride product, meaning you will be traveling with other passengers. Requests for additional stops or non-tourist stops cannot be accepted, and you cannot specify your seat or vehicle type. If you require a private vehicle, please order Option C.
The timing of the autumn maple leaves turning red varies depending on the weather. (There were no lights on at night in Xianglanxi when the tour departed on December 1st.) Once the tour is confirmed, refunds or appeals cannot be made on the grounds that the maple leaves have not turned red or that the lights are not on. Thank you for your understanding.
【Orchard Experience Precautions】To maintain order in the orchard and ensure a high quality experience for visitors, please adhere to the following regulations: 1. Please use scissors to cut the oranges or gently twist them when picking. Do not pull on the fruit to avoid damaging the trees. 2. This tour is limited to unlimited consumption of oranges within the orchard. Taking oranges out of the orchard is strictly prohibited. 3. If excessive picking, leaving behind a large quantity of uneaten oranges, or taking any oranges out of the orchard is discovered, the orchard reserves the right to charge additional fees (the portion taken out will be charged at the on-site price, and the cost will be borne by the visitor). 4. If you bring coolers, large bags, or other containers, orchard staff may inspect them when you leave the orchard. Your cooperation is appreciated. 5. Other citrus fruits are available in the orchard, but only oranges are allowed for unlimited consumption on-site. Please do not pick other varieties.
