This was a wonderful trip. The tour guide was friendly, explained things clearly, and gave us great advice. The natural environment and beautiful scenery of Gujo Hachiman, Takayama, and Shirakawa make you want to visit again in different seasons. It was a bit of a pity that we couldn't go up to the high point of the Gassho-zukuri village for a panoramic view due to time constraints.
The staff organising the trip was very nice, helpful. They explained everything in detail on how the inside of Park layout looks like, how to get tickets to certain areas and how long it takes to go from one place to anther. Bento provided was very nice. There is additional attraction before coming back to Nagoya. Yaya was wonderful, very cheerful guide. We even practice singing a song at the end of trip. I'm glad we went to Ghibli with this tour. It was very helpful.
We went on Children's Day to fulfill the kids' request. They got to experience all sorts of things—shouting, throwing, dancing—and it was great to see them so happy. I wonder if it helped them relieve some stress? It was incredibly crowded because it was Children's Day, though... Since we came all the way from Hamamatsu, it might be a little difficult to go again.
