Our tour guide, Sun Yuren, was incredibly kind and managed our schedule perfectly, giving us the most time. This trip was incredibly worthwhile and would have been impossible to complete on your own. The scenery at Kamikochi and Mt. Tatebe-Kuroyama was truly stunning. We were truly fortunate to have excellent accommodations and meals this time.
The itinerary was tight, and while I wasn't able to see everything I wanted to see, it certainly helped me plan future independent travel. The driver was very nice and the ride was smooth. Our tour guide, Xiao Liu, was patient and helpful, even taking the initiative to help us take photos at the scenic spots. As a solo traveler, I finally had some personal photos of myself in Takayama and Gassho-style.
Our guide, Miyamoto, provided clear and detailed explanations, allowing us to successfully visit all the places we wanted to eat and see within the limited time. We even managed to catch the Miyagawa Morning Market (where you can eat lots of Hida beef and enjoy various agricultural products). We were also lucky enough to encounter the Takayama Festival, which offered some sights we don't usually see. The weather was sunny and the temperature was slightly lower than in Nagoya city. There were no autumn leaves or snow this time, but the scenery was still beautiful. Unfortunately, we sold out of Hida milk. The bus ride was a bit long, but it was well worth it. I'd definitely go again in a different season next time! 😌
