We went to exchange our tickets beforehand and found our boarding point (boarding area number 5)! The tickets allow you to reserve seats, so no worries about not finding a place! The buses are clearly marked with "NARUTO"! After arriving at the boarding point, it's about a 20-minute walk inside. We bought a combo ticket for the Heaven and Earth Scrolls! The Heaven Scroll is more physically demanding, a bit like a maze, requiring climbing and collecting handprints to complete! The Earth Scroll is easier, just walking and collecting handprints; both require collecting stamps! Then, there was a male employee at the ramen shop who spoke a little Chinese! He asked where you were from. If you answered Taiwan, he said he likes Jay Chou 😆 and even came to Taiwan specifically to see his concert! He was quite friendly.
The kids loved feeding the deer in Nara, the Uji matcha ice cream was delicious, and everyone said the hot springs were excellent. Our tour leader, Richard, was incredibly attentive and provided detailed explanations of the entire itinerary in both English and Chinese. Thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
