It started raining heavily before we even left Naha. The high-speed ferry ride took 40 days to reach the island. Thankfully, the rain wasn't too bad once we arrived, but it was very cold. Even though it was cloudy, you could still see the gradient colors of the sea. Next time, I want to come back for snorkeling and an overnight stay to experience the island's tranquility and play with the island's cats. On our way back to Okinawa's main island, we saw sea snakes, corals, and tropical fish at the harbor – probably the cleanest harbor I've ever seen. The Taiwanese staff who greeted us on the island were very kind.

They will send you information and photos of the meeting point the day before the trip, which is reassuring. Be sure to take seasickness medication before departure! Large waves can easily cause seasickness. There are Chinese-speaking staff on board.

This stargazing and jungle night tour was amazing! I thought it would just be a regular night tour, but the experience was absolutely incredible! The lush jungle during the day transformed into a mysterious "otherworld" at night. Led by our guide, we turned off our flashlights and used our senses of hearing and touch to experience the forest at night. We heard all sorts of insect chirps and even saw owls – it was truly magical! I thought it would be difficult to see the stars on such a rainy day. Luckily, we looked up and saw a dazzling Milky Way. Our guide was also fantastic, explaining things to us and taking photos along the way.

Our driver, Mr. Takashima, was very friendly and enthusiastically introduced the customs, culture, and attractions of Ishigaki Island. The itinerary was flexible, and we had no problem using our mobile phones for translation throughout the trip. We had a great time.
