In the morning, we went to the Gassho-zukuri village to take beautiful photos. Luckily, it was snowing! Snowflakes drifted down, and the entire village was covered in white, like stepping into a fairytale world – breathtakingly beautiful. Although we only had about 2.5 hours, it was quite fulfilling and satisfying for a day trip. In the afternoon, we went to Morigago no Sato to play in the snow. The park was covered in soft, fluffy snow, and we could play on the snowmobiles and sleds as many times as we wanted. We also experienced a super exciting and fun snowmobile ride – the whole family had a blast! Overall, the trip was relaxing and enriching, highly recommended for families with children.
Returning to the Gassho-zukuri village at high altitude, there was ample time at each stop. Generally, tour groups hadn't arrived yet when we got there. In Makino-sato, we could use the snow facilities first. Our guide, Sun Yu, provided detailed explanations of the best places to eat and do, and led us along the main routes. The hot spring baths at the ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) were very comfortable, making for a wonderful travel experience.
Our tour guide, Ms. Sun Yu, was humorous and engaging, and she was excellent at managing the time, ensuring everyone had a comfortable itinerary. The meals and restaurants arranged by the company were also excellent, showcasing local specialties! Highly recommended! 👍
The driver was very professional, making driving in the snow reassuring. The ride was excellent, and they were extremely punctual. If you're visiting Nagoya, definitely choose this company; it will make your trip worthwhile.
The old street is quite beautiful, and playing in the snow is perfect for children. The hot spring environment is clean, and the scenery is also very nice. Towels can be brought by yourself; they are rented on-site.
