- This pass is not accessible for Green Cars, Home Liner railway line or other liners, Tokaido Shinkansen, Hokuriku Shinkansen and Toyama Chiho Railway (Terada - Kurobe Unazuki Onsen section). An additional charge will be applied
- If the ticket's validity period is exceeded while the passenger is on board the train, travel may proceed to the final station on the ticket as long as the passenger does not make any stopovers en route
- Even if you visit Japan with an Exchange Order, to be turned in for a JR Pass, the exchange cannot be made unless you have "Temporary Visitor" status; if you enter Japan under any other official status, such as "Trainee," "Entertainer," or "Reentry Permit," you cannot change the Exchange Order for a JR Pass
- No refund will be provided due to ineligibility for voucher redemption
— Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route —
- The Alpine Route can be crowded during peak travel months from April to June, transportation may require queueing
- Reservations are not necessary if you wish to ride the Tateyama Cable Car, please refrain from reserving web tickets online
- Present your JR Alpine-Takayama-Matsumoto Area Pass at the ticketing office of Tateyama Station or Kurobeko Station to redeem a ticket for transportation between Tateyama and Kurobeko
- Baggage delivery services between the Toyama area and Shinano-Omachi area are available for an additional fee

- The Alpine Route can be crowded during peak travel months from the start of the operating month to early May, then in mid-August and early October. Passengers might not be able to depart at the preferred time, please make sure to arrange the itinerary to allow for delays
- When transporting between Tateyama and Ogizawa, take this ticket to the counter at Tateyama or Ogizawa Station and receive a “boarding pass” to use the transport on that route

【Refund Policy】For any “MCO redeemable vouchers” that have not been exchanged into an “Official Pass”, you can apply for a refund within 11 months from the purchased date, however, a 10% cancellation fee will be charged. Please ensure that you keep your vouchers safe as we cannot issue new passes or process refunds if passes are lost, stolen or partially used
