Guidan Hot Springs is a natural sodium bicarbonate spring certified by the Central Geological Survey. The water is colorless, odorless, and has a smooth texture, earning it the nickname 'Beauty Soup.' With a pH between 7.0-7.8 and a temperature of approximately 50-60 degrees Celsius, it is gentle on the skin and helps soothe the body and mind. It is a truly natural hot spring beloved by bath enthusiasts.
Guidan Hot Springs' outdoor pools prioritize water hygiene, with a commitment to 'never using recycled water.' The facility ensures that fresh hot spring water is only filled into your reserved private pool after each group's check-in is complete. This private pool system guarantees that every guest enjoys pure, sanitary hot spring water for a worry-free bathing experience.
Currently, for hygiene reasons and to ensure the bathing quality for all visitors, Guidan Hot Springs' outdoor pools do not permit pets in the private pool areas or the hot spring pools themselves. If you need to bring a pet, it is recommended to contact the facility in advance to inquire about any available pet accommodation spaces or regulations.
To reach Guidan Hot Springs, you can first take a train or high-speed rail to Tainan Station, then transfer to a Tai-nan Bus. It is recommended to take the Green Line to 'Yujing Station,' and then take a taxi to the Guidan Hot Springs area. As the hot spring area is located in a mountainous region, public transport services are less frequent. It is advised to plan your transfers or travel time in advance.
