The tour guide was very friendly and did his best to meet our needs. The vehicle was also very comfortable. I will definitely come back to you next time I come.

The hotel offers round-trip high-speed rail discounts. Tickets will be mailed out a week before departure; remember to collect your tickets and get them distributed in advance. Hotel services are generally excellent. Amenities can be obtained from the front desk on the first floor. Bottled water is plentiful in the rooms; you can ask the front desk for more if needed. However, there is no water dispenser. Rooms have a coffee machine and kettle, and include tea bags, coffee capsules, and powdered sugar. You can also exchange your coffee at the coffee shop on the first floor. Slippers, towels, and bath towels are plentiful and will be replaced if you extend your stay. The TV has streaming video and some channels, but there may be a slight delay. Soundproofing in the hallways and outside the windows is not very good. There is a gym available with multiple treadmills and some weight training equipment, as well as water, towels, and apples. However, there is no self-service washing machine. Breakfast is plentiful, offering Chinese, Taiwanese, and Western options from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, with a wide variety of choices. Transportation is convenient, with a bus stop across the street. Overall, the stay was very good.

I signed up for a Japanese tour, but received a call the day before to say the guide would be Chinese. Having read reviews, I headed to the meeting point without much worry and met up with my guide. (Taipei Station, where we met, has multiple entrances, so if you have trouble finding the meeting point, I recommend taking a taxi.) This tour was with two other groups, and while I thought the other group was Chinese, it turned out to be a trio of Kansai-style ladies. We had a lively and fun day. (Thank you!) Even though the guide didn't speak Japanese, he was very considerate and made for a very pleasant tour. However, perhaps due to the schedule, I needed to hurry up and drink my 50 Arashi tapioca milk tea before heading to Miyahara Eye Clinic for ice cream and some shopping. It would have been nice to have it on the way back. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and I missed the sunset at Gaomei Wetlands, but I would definitely go again. This tour was very satisfying and I'd love to do it again.
