I was very lucky to have a good driver/guide and fellow tour members. I'm very grateful for the good weather on the first and second mornings. Mt. Fuji was truly beautiful, and the autumn leaves were already red. I took so many photos. The cable car ride up was also great for taking pictures, although it was crowded. I'm grateful to my companions for being understanding. I was completely absorbed in taking photos at every spot, and every single one was amazing! In the evening, we changed to a newer hotel. I was very fortunate that there were convenience stores and shopping malls (drugstores, supermarkets, etc.) nearby, so I did some more shopping. However, the room had central heating, so I had to open the window for ventilation, otherwise it would have been very stuffy. The restaurant was so-so. The hotel entrance had a view of Mt. Fuji. I took a few more photos before setting off. The next morning, Lawson's was also incredibly beautiful. Unfortunately, I couldn't see McDonald's and the shopping street later, so I didn't climb the shrine. Overall, I was quite satisfied. I didn't have to think about planning the itinerary or transportation.
Our tour guide was incredibly kind, not only enthusiastic and responsible, but also spoke fluent and clear Chinese! The itinerary and attraction descriptions were detailed and comprehensive, showing his dedication. We heard that Mount Fuji can only be seen for about 100 days a year, so we were so lucky! Being able to witness the beauty of Mount Fuji with our own eyes was truly a wonderful surprise of this trip!
The driver discussed and suggested a departure time with us the day before to avoid traffic. Since we were traveling with elderly relatives, he immediately appeared at the meeting point after each attraction, which made our trip very worry-free.
