It's practically a zoo, and the animals all looked healthy and energetic. While the park isn't particularly large, it cleverly utilizes vertical space to create ample exhibits, and the flow of movement is smooth. Animal lovers will definitely enjoy themselves! I was lucky enough to participate in the guinea pig petting activity; the participation fee of ¥300 per person was excellent value. You can pet them for 15 minutes, but you can't pick them up to avoid startling them. I was particularly impressed by an area dedicated to "animals formerly kept by locals," which surprisingly included a native dog! 😂 I found it very novel and interesting, and it gave me a better understanding of the local people's past way of life. Besides the animal area, there's also a museum and a children's play area, making it a perfect place to spend a whole day with kids at Okinawa Children's Kingdom!
